Creating and printing a unique cover

When you want to specify your sender adress on the envelop, you can configure this before you begin processing the envelop. Once you have your cover configured the way you want it, you can have it printed and saved so you can use it again. Select Option.

Browse down and enter your From in the General field in the Email field. Please note: You can use your email addresses in your envelopes, labels, or other documents if you want to use them in your documents. You can check that the print settings are correct before you run a stack of envelopes through your machine.

In the Mailings pane, in the Create group, click Envelopes. Select Options, and then select the Cover Options page. Click in the field Insert format on the selection that corresponds to the dimension of your insert. When none of the options match your insert sizes, browse to the bottom of the screen, click Custom sizes, and then enter the sizes of your insert in the Width and Height fields.

Select the Print Options page. Your print engine will tell Word in which direction to insert the cover into the print engine, and this information will appear on the Print Options page of the Cover Options dialogue window. Feeding procedure defines the cover location (right, center, left) and whether the long or long edges are inserted into the press.

Envelopes can be face up or face down. Area is the page on which the street or street addressed is imprinted. When the cover is first supplied with a brief margin, the cover may need to be turned to avoid the text on the front of the cover being inverted. In the following figure, the cover is inserted to the right, face down, cover up, and the brief margin is inserted into the document according to the setting in the above dialogue boxes.

Enter the postal adress in the Delivery adress field. To use an adress in the computer's built-in email directory, click Insert adress. Enter the returns adress in the Returns adress field or use the pre-configured adress. To use an adress in the computer's built-in email directory, click Insert adress.

To keep the From Address for later use, but not use it on the actual cover, click the Omit Checkbox. When you have ePost at your disposal, e.g. when you have bought it from a World Wide Web site, you can attach it to your cover.

Activate the checkbox Enter shipping costs. There you will find more information and hyperlinks to other websites offering ePostage. Click E-Portfolio properties to specify choices for the ePayment software on your computer. When you want to save the cover for printing without storing it for re-use, place an cover in the document as shown in the Feed field, and then click Save.

When you are ready to store the cover for re-use, click Append to your documents, click the File page, click Store as, and enter a name for the file. Words appends the cover to the actual page 1 of the page. You can use the remainder of the documents to enter your letters, which will be saved together with the envelop.

In order to Print the cover, place an cover in the printer as shown in the Feed field on the Printing Options page of the Cover Options dialogue window, and then click Printing. Browse down and enter your sender email under General in the Email field. Word saves the sender email so you can use it whenever you want to add your sender email addresses to an envelop, tag, or other documents.

Click in the field Insert format on the selection that corresponds to the dimensions of your insert.

When none of the options match your insert sizes, browse to the bottom of the screen, click Custom sizes, and then enter the sizes of your insert in the Width and Height fields. Select the Print Options page. Your print engine will tell Word in which direction to insert the cover into the print engine, and this information will appear on the Print Options page of the Cover Options dialogue window.
